How do you make a space small and short sublime?

Seoul, a city known for its perpetual intensity and immense scale, can be both invigorating and exhausting. Nestled on the top floor of a commercial building in the heart of Apgujeong, a high-end commercial district in Seoul, Nightcap emerges as a bar—a refuge—for city dwellers.

As you step into the softly lit corridor, the gentle gleam of the cupola reflects and illuminates your path. The light emanating from the cupola, which pierces through the dark entrance, acts as a portal to another realm—an escape from the bustling city life into a personal sanctuary. The reflective ceiling and the bowl of the cupola are meticulously crafted from galvanized steel, stainless steel, and satin glass. These materials, with their varying degrees of reflectivity, guide your attention towards the U-shaped bar. Once inside the cupola, you find yourself surrounded by an array of black textured materials, each featuring different shades and shapes. These materials accentuate the reflective and expansive dome while creating a subtle gradient backdrop for the bar.

Take a moment, but together. Savor the moment, collectively. Come, put on your Night Cap.
